Dual Degree Coursework
High School students taking college level courses for credit through an accredited collegiate institution must submit an official transcript from that institution to determine transferability. Equivalencies of courses taken at a New Jersey community college can be viewed at njtransfer.org.
Please send official transcripts to the Admissions Office.
Advanced Placement Examinations
Degree credits are awarded for Advanced Placement Examinations in which a score of 4 or above has been earned on the examination. Please have Advanced Placement Examination College Board reports submitted to College Board code: 2765 (Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey: New Brunswick/Piscataway Campus).
INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB) EXAMINATIONS
International Baccalaureate Examination credits are awarded for scores between 5 and 7. Evaluations of coursework are completed by the appropriate academic department. Credit is not awarded for scores of 4 or lower or for subsidiary/standard level exams. See ibo.org for additional information regarding IB exams.
DANTES (Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support)
DANTES examination credits are not transferable.
Please note that courses not offered in traditional classroom format (for example, independent studies, internships, fieldwork) are awarded transfer credit only upon the recommendation of the appropriate academic department.
